Jay Rigdon of RIG Entertainment is a MUST HAVE for any event that music/entertainment is needed. My wife and I had the pleasure of having Jay DJ our wedding at Casa Ybel Resort on Sanibel Island. As a little background, my wife and I reside in Michigan and planned a destination wedding in FL for simplicity. Nevertheless, in addition to playing great music, Jay set up LED color lighting displays all throughout the venue; this feature completely transformed and enhanced the venue – it was very elegant! A deciding factor for us hiring a DJ was the fact that it would help announce the different parts of our wedding and streamline all of the different festivities throughout the night. Wow, did Jay do exactly that and more. He was excellent with keeping the entire event on schedule and prompt with announcing the different activities, informing our guests what to do, and making everyone laugh along the way. Jay is very personable and friendly. He has a commendable history of work and education - his website does an excellent job detailing that. Jay's pricing was the most competitive from the research and calls my wife and I did; we used a base list of about five DJ's in that region of FL that are the most highly rated and preferred to work with from Casa Ybel - Jay was one of the five. As I previously mentioned, our DJ search and desire for a DJ at our wedding was definitely a last minute thing (4 days before). Jay was very accommodating and made the entire process extremely smooth. In summary, take the time to look in Jay Rigdon and HOPE he is available! Jay and I were discussing how he recently branched off and created his own business in attempt to offer the competitive pricing and deliver a personable, enhanced experience – not sure where he was before, nor care, but all I know he has succeeded and he’s worth checking out for any type of event. From the beginning I knew we had picked the right DJ. When we first met with him, we went over our personalized website that he helped us create our timeline for the wedding. As most brides know, once it comes down to the wire (a month or so left), it's go time! I would text him in a panic about something minor and he would instantly set up a time for us to meet and go over the details. I never once felt like I was dropping the ball when I had Jay by my side.
The day of the wedding I didn't have to worry about a thing. He came up to my now husband (!!!) and I throughout the night making sure that we were okay and if we needed anything. He made sure we ate (which you forget to do - I promise!) and always had a drink in our hand all while keeping the party going.
Our wedding was a combination of young and older guests and he knew how to keep them all entertained. You won't be mistaken if you use Jay. He's not just a wedding vendor, but he's also now a friend. Love you Jay! :)

To say that DJ Rigdon went above and beyond is an understatement! His love and passion for his craft definitely shines through his quality of work! From the first time we met in his office to the time he called for last dance, he was an absolute pleasure to work with!!
I truly believe that our day would not have been possible without DJ Rigdon there. Not only from an entertainment perspective, but also with making sure our special day went as planned from every angle.
For these reasons, I will continue to recommend DJ Rigdon over and over again!!

From the moment I spoke with Jay I knew that he would be our DJ for our wedding. He was professional, and I could tell he would do a great job for us. I was a very picky bride, I had very specific things that I wanted, and Jay not only met but exceeded all our expectations. We were having such a great time that we even extended our wedding another hour. Everyone was on the dance floor and multiple people still are telling us how great the playlist was. Jay and his team did a great job and they made the night truly unforgettable. Another thing that was truly great about Jay was that he was so caring and we felt like he wanted to make sure our day went as smoothly as possible. Before booking our DJ, we talked with another company, that was not willing to DJ a same-sex wedding and I was crushed. I told this to Jay and he immediately helped me calm down and explained how open he is to work with same-sex couples, veterans and any nationalities etc. I don’t think our day would have been complete without Jay! We seriously can’t thank him enough and words don't do him justice.

We were incredibly happy with Jay and his team! Jay was absolutely amazing helping us prepare for our big day. He met with us to answer any and all questions we had and was extremely accessible. Jay was informative about how he could help make our special day go smoothly and the day of was FABULOUS - Our DJ was a wonderful MC and played our music perfectly. From the start to finish RIG Entertainment made everything seamless. We spoke with Jay Rigdon and met him with multiple times to arrange and discuss every detail of our wedding. His online application allowed us to chose the must plays and like to play song. My husband and I don't always agree on music and he did a good job of helping us compromise on songs and we were both able to play the songs we love the most. There was nothing that we couldn't find in his library. He was very careful to take detailed notes of all aspects of the wedding which we wanted to incorporate. On the day of the wedding, Jay didn't just show up he made sure everything was in place and flowed perfectly. He put both of us at ease. It was very windy that day during our ceremony and even with the wind the sound was outstanding! During our reception, Jay did a good job getting the people on the dance floor with some amazing songs of our choice. He was very good with the crowd and keeps everyone entertained and having fun the whole night! In addition, he went above and beyond made sure that my husband and I always had everything we needed throughout the course of the night. We couldn't of been happier to have to pick Jay be our DJ for our wedding. You won't be sorry if you chose RIG Entertainment for your next event best decision we made in regards to our wedding!
