Jay Rigdon
- Hello my name is Jay Rigdon, I am the TEAM LEADER of RIG Entertainment. I am also a Veteran (Retired). Relocating to Florida in 2011, I started RIG Entertainment on July 4th, 2014. I have been an entertainer for over 25 years. I am a also a full wedding/Events Planner (15 plus years) and bring a lot more than your average DJ. Managing my own business FULL TIME gives me the opportunity to better serve my clients. My hours are from 1 Pm until 3 Am 7 days a week including holidays. This allows me to meet the needs of all my clients. I am here for you on YOUR time when needed.

Who is Jay?
- Jay is a DJ/Entertainer and Senior Wedding/Events Planning Specialist.
- Jay graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration and is currently working on his Masters of Management Degree. Jay presents a variety of assets to make your event spectacular such as experience, attention to details, punctuality, interactions, party motivator just to name a few. Going above and beyond is his passion. Starting out in the music industry, Jay played multiple instruments and was a performing member of live bands. Jay has controlled sound and lighting systems for small and large events. "Sound quality is one of my priorities and I have developed an ear to adjust to any type of venue for superior sound".
- In early 1992, Jay began his DJ career in Massachusetts. By 1994, Jay owned and operated a large and successful DJ company (Dance The Night Away DJ Service) employing several staff members. Jay performed countless functions in Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Vermont.
- While in the military, Jay continued to DJ in several other states such as Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Georgia, Missouri, Texas, New Mexico, North Carolina, Florida to name a few. The experience in several different states has broadened his ideas and skills as an entertainer.
- With over 20 years of experience, Jay has become one of the industry’s top entertainers by listening to and exceeding his client’s expectations. Always being prepared and having the ability to adapt to, "changing situations" and also having top quality equipment is another factor that sets him aside from others. Most important, Jay cares about the quality of his own work no matter what. On your special day, Jay has the unique ability to perform as the Master of Ceremonies, DJ, or both! In addition to tremendous passion for DJ entertainment, Jay is also experienced with Karaoke and sound/lighting production. Jay has performed at numerous events and also offers advice/ help with planning ANY event you can create.
